Anyone know what this part is called ??

I broke my side stand - it couldnt take 13 stone kicking it to feck !!!

its not the side stand but the bit that attaches to the frame and then to the stand - anyone know what you would call it other than a thingmybob
and even better know where i can get one ?

Mine was broken when i had the bike drilled out the bolts . Got new bolts Cut heads off to slide through and filled with weld

i like your style wayne - im shit at drilling metal - my old black and decker just about gets through plasterboard

Ill take it down my garage - see of he can do it for me - nice one !!

Just a side stand bracket, they're crap! I've just bought a trail tech one, £105 but worth every penny

Its called a sidestand bracket there about £30
 I have repaired a couple in my time  in the same way as wayne 
You should buy a new bolt and sleeve aswell

I've chopped, welded,cut and bent the standard stand so many times its ridiculous so when the chain ate the back of the stand and one from ktm wa £80 the trail tech one was a bargain, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise, i was forced into it Mine even broke the brackets off the frame a few years ago so i had to weld them back on too

im going to learn to weld / drill / tap and dye (whatever you call it)
