KTM 300 Piston choice
2008 KTM 300 piston seized today so need some advice on piston choice. So far got Wiseco at £180, Wossner at £135 and Vertex at £115. Any thoughts on which/alternative? Also Wiseco and Woosner are twin ring, vertex is single, much difference?
Cheers

Less stiction I think they call it for SX . Two rings helps to keep the compression to last longer I believe... :

Re: KTM 300 Piston choice
I just start mine and leave it run for 5mins then leave it cool down do the same again then ride it for about 2 hrs not reving it to hard and its ready for a good seeing too
some say to use cheep 2 stroke oil to run it in not to glase the bore
i have used a horning tool to deglaze the bore and it gives a even finish

The 300 lives, has an odd clunking noise, could be piston slap, could be paranoia! Will see when i run it in.
