saddle bags
Thinking of getting a pair of saddlebags , for those longer trips .
These look quite good ? Anyone tried them or something similar ?

Re: saddle bags
I've got the tank bag, and the panniers that fit on the fuel tank
Quality is good, fittings good - but both smaller than I expected!

Yeah , Im expecting smallness , they do bigger ones , but i just fancy some slimline ones that i can get a few bits in like tube , pump , sandwiches , flipflops and shorts etc , jacket ... maybe thats a bit optimistic , might look at bigger version !

Re: saddle bags
Keep as small as poss mate, saddle bags on the back are a nightmare anymore than a tent strapped on the rear mudguard makes the bike feel like a Harley

That's the way me going with it for shell suit & flip flops with spare base layers with thin waterproofs to put on under my wet riding gear if needed for sunday, strapped to the rear mudguard/seat....spare tube on front fender then just me normal back pack.

Re: saddle bags
I thought of one of these in the past but don't like the idea of only one fixing point per side, which is not the strongest part of the frame to begin with either.
