To confirm that I'm now officially an old fart, I changed an SV1000 for this at the weekend - from yet another shit dealer - Woods of Abergele

yea u old now gar Very Happy  but that is a nice looking bike the old man used to have a few british bikes bsa a10 and a bonny so grew up on em

I suspect your old chap would dismiss it as 'modern crap dressed up as the real thing' but having heard the reputation of oil leaks, crap electrics etc of some of the old stuff (and had a BSA Starfire myself Embarassed ) it'll do for me  Very Happy

Is it the fuel injection with made to look like carbs. If so there is a way of getting more hp

It is the fuel injection one, but think it would need better suspension if it had more power - it batters your arse on potholes and wallows a bit on faster smoother stuff affraid 
Think I've discovered why everyone went to monoshocks when they did!
