6 day tyres are made to last............. well a few days. I bet you the top riders are having 6 x six days tyres in 6 days! lol

awesome grip normally means soft compound in my experience

As nate said good grip means rapid wear. My son put some michlin pilot sport cups on his clio for a trackday at pembrey. There were places he was catching higher powered cars because he had the grip and could keep his foot in. Tires did 94 laps and went in the skip. Expensive day out at £180.00 a tire.
I,m looking for a good compromise I wouldnt expect more then three rides from a rear tire that was giving good grip. I get three track days out of metzeler race tecs using tire warmers. Wouldnt want to use them longer then that . Tires are cheaper then body work and twisted handlebars and footrests
