This is probably old news, but I hadn't seen one of these gadgets until the other day!

They turn a pain in the arse job, into a piece of piss - cheaper ones available on ebay, but not only did this one have an explanatory pic, it was also a lovely shade of blue Very Happy

Ive got one and tbh it don't make a lot of difference using a tyre changer.........may be handy doing a puncture out on the trails with levers but I wouldn't know being a mousse man

No, just blue.
But as you're rich enough to run mousses it won't be a problem Very Happy

So what's the real story with mousses then??
When I asked in a shop recently how long a mousse would last (eg. how many tyre's would they do) it all got a bit vague, but was told ''at least one tyre and up to a year''
At almost £200 quid a pair, decided the odd puncture wasn't too much of a problem after all Shocked

Surely they must last longer than that, or you wouldn't all be using them............?

The price & life time always put me off em..bit the bullet for the welsh because I really didn't want a puncture there.
Cricket helped me out with the mousse's & fitted em in a flash with his tyre changer (but had the know how & made it look easy)
As far as trail riding goes the rear felt ok yet shite in the front, for me anyway ...like running 25 psi when new & felt heavy on the steering.
So soon took em out, lubed them stuck em in old tyre's then black bags & bombed em in the attic.
Hope they last till next year, because they are bloody dear inner tubes....Laughing

Disclaimer........ok if you are to lazy or in a rush to fix a puncture tho! lol!
