start the bike, ticks over, twist the throttle all without any problems
put it in gear let the clutch out and just as you get the biting point the engine dies
very bloody frustrating
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

is this only when starting the engine cold or when is been used for a bit

yes bonkeye even when the engine is warmed up

Have you got a side stand switch fitted?

what bike isit?

sorry forgot to mention the important bit kawasaski kmx two stroke
checked the side stand steve that was ok

is there a switch on the clutch lever? check that

Does it rev OK when you pull the clutch in?

Does it sound right (as it did in the past) when you rev it? Does it feel like the timing is out? Its not going backwards is it? Haha

Have you got a big hammer?
