ktm 2t starter probs

Anybody know where i can get a brush / repair kit for my 2011 300 starter motor ?

Time to sell it Butt and move up in life... haha

Redline is who I used to use.

Any ktm dealer there about £11

Got to keep it for one more strawberry season so ill repair it....its turning over slowly as if the batt is flat , all the internals are like new earthed good and a new batt so the only thing it canbe is brushes (hopefully) ive seen brush kits on ebay now and again or perhaps ill drop it into shorts in swansea and see what they can do

Graham bought a repair kit for his starter the other day. Ask him how long it lasted

Juljam look up Jeff Slavens starter motor mods on you tube, some good tips on there. Starter motor problems are standard on KTM 2T's.

All the mods have been done and as i said the internals are like new ....its done 175hrs without missing a beat so a couple of quid on brushes is nothing to be honest....the usual problem people get is worn casings, bendix and but mine is all ticketyboo.......typical only bragging it up the other day :geek:

Diddnt think it would be long before you had something to say on the matter

Mines fucked aswell no idea how to fix it so I've left it and disconnected it all

Not impressed , the end of my stand decided to then snap off the other day, £6700 bike and they can't make the stand strong enough, fooking muppets !

They also like drowning as well I've heard! haha
