need a new regulator rectifier thing for my 2000 GasGas what brands are good an what to stay away from?

They tend to be manufactured by people like Denso Japan, etc. Probably best to stay away from Chinese stuff (if any exists?), as with everything else - QC is dubious and assembly techniques, very basic.

I think that most of the Jap stuff is of good quality, although Honda reg/recs have a history of failing (whatever the OEM)... but no idea why.

Having owned a vfr400 I can vouch for certain Honda models lunching their regulators/rectifiers.

These guys were always well regarded for reliable replacements

Ive got a old one here you can have if you want.
Dont know what make it is.
It was wired into the harness of a Rd 350

Not heard of that make/manufacturer... it might be spot-on, I'm dunno tho... if it was me, I'd try to get something closer to OEM - Denso, Mitsubishi, etc as they're probably going to be better made and more reliable (+ more £, of course).
