I had problems with knee pads popping out over the top of my boots because they don't make them long enough for people over 5ft 2in. I fcuked about shortening them so they were clear of the boots but still wasn't happy with that.
I now have drilled holes in my boots and knee pads and tie strapped (riverting is too rigid) them together.
Now they are bespoke and always perfectly positioned for max comfort and protection.
Makes you feel a bit like Robocop though . . Or worse Lord Farquar from Shrek
