Fork seals wheeping
As the title says my one front fork seal is wheeping.
Just wanted to know has anyone used one of those little plastic gadgets that you push up around the seal
to try and remove the muck which is 9 times out of 10 which causes the seal to fail?
Looked on you tube and they look like a good idea.
Any surgestions would be appreciated.

I have used a feeler guage in the past, it only works as long as the seal isn't damaged or worn out though.

Re: Fork seals wheeping
thanks for the replies guys, ordered one on ebay so thanks anyway skippy.
Got your message graham, havent replaced anything yet. I just noticed a small amount of oil wheeping from one fork so hoping that this plastic device can re-seal without having to replace anything! Will let you know the outcome.
