Re: crank case
Chain to tight? Tried to pull the sprocket bearing out of the casing?
I know somebody down Bridgend way who can do that work. Let me know if that helps...

Hi paul i think you'll have to buy a pair as they're machined together in the factory

Not sure cracked or holed hav'nt seen it yet, its on denzils boys bike.
It was'nt the tension or a broken chain, i think it was a small stone between the chain & clutch protector (so they call them when you buy em ) that has done the damage.
Will let you know if it looks fixable. Cheers phil.

Re: crank case
Can you fix it with some of that chemical metal stuff? Tried it on the wr cured the leek but was still leaking through the seal.
There's no real pressure in a 2 stroke it go,s rock solid and can be sanded or filed down once dry.
If you weld it your going to have to strip the casing to do a proper job if its near the sprocket.
There's a chap in brynmawr that does alloy welding 07817498123 He,s in the estate where the council offices are.

Re: crank case
used chemical metal on my mates 300 exc fixed a hole the size of a 5p and it never ever leaked which really impressed me, we fixed it on the lane aswell i was well impressed with that stuff
try it you got nowt to loose before you weld it you will just need to clean it off and its only about 6 quid a tube
