KTM Carb setttings, what u running??

Help.....

My nippers 2006 ktm 250 exc is guzzling the fuel, anyone with a 250 know what jets, needle and needle height your running...His 250 is drinking quite a bit more than my 300 Gasser...

Go onto the ktm web site and download the owners manual for that bike. Your carb should be altered for altitude and temperature. Ie, the air is denser at sea level so needs to be set richer.

Im presently running, airscrew 1 complete turn out. Needle n8rh 4th ring from top. main jet 170. Check the spark plug condition too.

I dont suppose its carb overflow?

My 300 was like that, the needle was on the top setting, took it down 2 notches, fine now.

Dont think its overflow, we're in newport (sea level) !! and ride mountains !!! high level !!!

Will check the needle clip.....

float could be sticking skippy boy.....check im bro.
