Cheap waterproof socks

Post by Miller on Tue Jan 10, 2012 6:55 pm

I found these on ebay recommended on the KTM forum. They're a lot better than sealskinz which i've tried recently, and at half the price delivered, they seem the bomb Very Happy

Yeah and they're nothing like the £25.00 jobbies that are the more popular. Had mine today and they seem a lot more hard wearing.

Well went out for a couple of hours with Shepy and I can confidently report that they do exactly what they say on the tin. My feet were bone dry, and because they're over sized you can wear a pair of warm socks underneath them, simples! On another point it was slippery as fuck on the short grass (frozen underneath) and was lethal. Tap the front brake, wheel gone from underneath you, or pin it and the back end went the same way. Good fun though. Did a couple of lanes around the Goose and then onto the Blaenavon slag tips Very Happy Gave the Blorange a miss.
