Powys Enduro 2012

Is anyone else doing the Powys on the 1st of July??
(so plenty of time to prepare!)

In a deluded moment of madness i've entered it (and got my entry confirmed today) having made the assumption that i can do a 150 mile off road.
That's the equivelent mileage of Cardiff to London offroad
As i intend treatnig it as 'a brisk trail ride where i'll get overtaken a lot' do any other unfit, uncompetitive type's fancy making it a bit of a SWTR outing??

If you do, don't bother trying to book the only hotel in Carno, as i booked the last rooms there today, when my Southern mates refused to kip in a van the night before

a gar might give this a bash again . last time had a lift in da back of a ambulanse

nights sat night if i can get it off i could br up for this...

we will have to start getting sponsered by the site before long a cap

count me in if theres a few of you doing it

the welsh 2 day regs are out on march 1st only thing is its on a thurs and fri but a good event

If you intend doing the powys you need get entrys in real quick cos it fills up even quicker. just a note though, it is 150 miles loop but a lot of it now is on tarmac as they have lost a lot of access.

That makes feel a bit happier, but 150 miles still sounds like a long way - even on the road bike

Anyone else up for it??
